Gracie

Two weeks ago today our sweet baby girl arrived!  I am, once again, amazed at how instantly you can love someone more than you ever thought possible. 

6 lb. 9 oz., 19 1/2 inches

 

 

She has been such a delight already!  She rarely ever cries or gets fussy, eats pretty much on schedule, and sleeps an average of 4 hour stretches at night.  Her hiccups sound like a squeaky toy and her cries are gentle and "girlie."  She has such a sweet spirit about her and brings such a delicate presence to our home.  She is the most beautiful baby, has the sweetest grin, and looks just like her older brother.

It is such a joy to have two wonderful children in our home.  Isaac loves his baby sister and has been absolutely loving and gentle towards her from the moment he met her.  He loves to give his baby sister kisses and hugs -- he kisses her face an average of 10 times a day.  He helps pat Gracie's back when she needs to burp and gets diapers for me when it's time for a diaper change.  He is such a great big brother!

Gracie is truly a sweet picture of God's grace to us.  She is absolutely perfect and we are so thankful for God's faithfulness even when we don't deserve such a beautiful gift.
