Thanks to our three-year-old, the bug population (specifically the rollie pollie population) around church grounds is now controlled. Our house is located next to the church, and on our outside playtime this morning, Isaac decided he wanted to ride his "bike" (tricycle) around the sidewalks on church property. So I loaded Gracie in the red wagon and we soon found ourselves looking for every rollie pollie we could find along our journey. Isaac collected the rollie pollies and Gracie soon became the "keeper of the pollies" in the red wagon. Forty-five rollie pollies later, we had quite a collection.
Isaac is all about two things right now. Bugs and space shuttles. And Gracie, by default and sheer admiration of her big brother, loves "butts" (bugs) too.
The bluebonnets are here! Our drought last year prevented the bluebonnets from blooming, but this year they are absolutely beautiful! So we hurried--an understatement--tonight after church to snap a few pictures before sunset. You get what you get when it's bedtime and you're asking a three-year-old and a one-year-old to "smile" and "sit here." But bribing with Oreos managed to persuade them to flash those pearly whites for a few shots. :)
